Mission Statement

Our mission is to restore hope for a future and deliver the message of Jesus Christ to the less fortunate children in the Philippines through the provision of education, guidance, food, clothing and healthcare.

Background

Poverty in the Philippines is a serious condition. A majority of the population live on less than $2 a day and 30% live below the poverty line.

History

Puso Para sa Tahanan was founded by Aurora Montano in 1990 to help less fortunate people in the province of Cavite, Philippines. It started as a mission to provide medical and dental aid to the poor. In 2008, Aurora expanded her ministry by providing education to the less fortunate children.

Vision

Puso Para Sa Tahanan has partnered with Heart For Home to fight the severe problems of poverty in the Philippines. Our goal is to help sponsor one child at a time providing education and hope for a future so that they can also provide hope for the generations to come.
